A weblog by Ernie Hsiung

I know this seems a little shameless and camgirl-like, but a special thank you for everyone who was nice enough to buy something off my Amazon Wishlist: Joz, Drew, Jess & Marc, and Patrick.

Jason gave me this awesome shirt for my birthday
It should also be mentioned that Jason gave me this AWESOME shirt, which says “Chinese is not my mother tongue.” Considering that this is written in Simplified Chinese (used in Mainland China) as opposed to Traditional Chinese (used in Taiwan and Hong Kong), I’m sure this will be a hit with my extended family. Especially the ones that fought under Chiang Kai-shek.

Well, this will probably make me an outcast at Christmas again. Meh, I’ll deal with it.

You’re very welcome; trust me, the exchange was far from equivalent given the vicarious good times your blog has provided over the years.

I’ve no blog at the moment, but as I originally learned of yours through my friend Stacy, linking to her is only fair: http://isleofavalon.blogspot.com

    BTW, I love the shirt!

    Fond wishes,
    Patrick

You have awesome friends! Merry Christmas to you and don’t worry about being an outcast-you’ll get used to it. Trust me. :)

  3. You’re welcome, Ernie! Could I NOT buy my evil gay Taiwanese twin something for his birthday?!?!?

    Don’t be a bully, now!

  4. Lil says:

But if you weren’t the black sheep at the family Christmas party, then what would you have to talk about later? BTW, I found it interesting that even though you work for a certain company, you have “Ads by Google” on your personal page.

Man, I thought you were on forever hiatus, but glad I saw you are back in full swing. Always enjoyed the blog. Found it over on Charlie Hatton’s http://www.wherethehellwasi.com and now I have my own at http://www.hahnathome.com
P.S. Sacramento isn’t any better – no gay people my age either

You’re very welcome, but I do have one question. Remember a long time ago when we sent you that “Hello Titty” t-shirt? What ever happened to that? I was hoping to see a photo of you wearing it! ;)
