This weekend Paris, Belinda, Don and I went to California Extreme [photo via Andy], where I bumped into Andre. I would retell the story, but he sums it up pretty nicely. Yeah. Also at ArcadeCon, this conversation:
Ernie: You think there are other nerdy gay guys around here?
Don: Are you kidding? Of course there is. You should go up to one of them and say hi.
Ernie: Gah. That’s not my style, and it’s too hard to tell the geeky guys from the gay ones. What would I use for a pick-up line, anyway?
Paris: “Hey baby, why don’t you come back to my place and we could UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT B A START for a while?”
Ernie, Belinda and Don, in unison: nice.
Paris: Yeah.
You can take Ernie out of the video arcade, but you can’t take the video arcade out of Ernie.
