Whoo-friggin ha. I have decided to pretty much to jump on the blogging bandwagon.1 For my trendy little Asian friends who don't know what the hell a blog is, it's short for a "weblog," where people usually link to pages that interest them, with appropriate witty comments here and there.
And I'm ALL about the witty comments. Huh? I thought so.
There almost might be a little bit of journal/diary quality to it, so if there is, I'll let it be. I'll also update this much more regularly, way more than my musings on that other website I write for. Which brings me to the very first link off my blog, I guess -- IIStix2, an Asian American web zine that doesn't try to be all Asian American proactive like other sites I know. Oh yeah, e-mail me and make me feel like other people actually read this bad boy. Late.
Fun fact: I’m twice as old as I was then. (24 then, 48 as of March 2025. Oh God.)
Oh man, pour a bottle for IIStix, a webzine about things Asian Americans found important from the late 90s to the early 2000s. I remember a lot of Impact font being used. I also just remembered I had a monthly column where I dove into my feelings, which means I’ll need to spend another day in the Internet Archive digging out any articles I’ve written. Yeah, this is gonna be awkward.

...and several months later, in April of 2001, I, too, started my blog, ultimately accumulating tens of readers over the course of the next quarter century.
